HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN KEKUASAAN DAN GAYA KOMUNIKASI PEMIMPIN WANITA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI

Women have been given a chance recently to become a leader in the private and public organizations. Women also represent a human resource with their own rights and duties, and having a similar chance to men to participate into the national development. Social function of women seems prominent in the social environment. Greater number of women participated into the leadership of an organization means that men and women have a balancing competence. Women leader has ability to persuade a group to the achievement of organizational objective. To ensure that the process will be facilitated needs the leader to treat individual in humanity, precisely to adapt the power with constituent condition in order to produce effective leadership and to increase work achievement. In other words, a leader with self-restraint to exercise the power must be more effective than one with restraining power to satisfy the demand of dominance over others. Subsequently, a leader of an organization, especially public organization, doesn’t remain only accept or understand the concept of power and communication as part of work, but has to learn how to use it rather than to mislead it for individual satisfaction. Individual objectives may come into consideration but for the increase of employee work achievement and for the more effective and efficient achievement of organizational objectives. Indeed, the success or the failure of organization (public organization) appears determined by leadership quality owned by everyone charged with a duty to lead the organization.
